SSCP certification is designed for professionals with technical cybersecurity skills and practical experience. This certification defines, with fair and objective standards, the practical work scope, roles, and responsibilities of personnel in organizations who are directly involved in implementing and managing cybersecurity policies. By earning the SSCP, individuals responsible for network and system management within an organization will have their skills and professionalism recognized. Achieving the SSCP means having knowledge across the seven domains of the SSCP CBK® and understanding the basic principles, components, and applied techniques used in the implementation, monitoring, and operation of each routine task.

擁有一年或以上專業經驗，並且於七個SSCP CBK 範圍中擁有最少一個範圍的相關工作經驗。通過3小時、共125題選擇題的英文筆試，考試概括SSCP CBK (資訊安全通識體系)所規定的七大領域。同意及遵守ISC2 的專業守則。未擁有足夠專業經驗的資訊人員，可報考 ISC2的SSCP Associate(準會員)，兩年內累積足夠的專業經驗，得到審核及推薦後可正式成為SSCP, 成功獲核准後亦需達到每3年共60分CPE (持續教育積分) 的要求，並繳付會員年費65美元

Certification Application Eligibility and Process
在SSCP考試中取得700分或以上者則通過考試。
繳交正確填寫且經另一位 ISC2 所認證的專業人士(如SSCP、CISSP、CSSLP)所簽署之背書文件，並連同履歷送交 ISC2申請證書。
ISC2 will randomly audit candidates' relevant work experience as part of the verification process.
Memeber fee
費用:65美元
CPE (Continuing Professional Education):
- CISSP holders must earn 120 CPEs within three years, or retake the exam.
- At least 40 CPEs must be earned each year, for a total of 120 CPEs over three years.

Notes
Which certification should I choose, CISSP or SSCP? SSCP is an entry-level certification in cybersecurity. If you have 5 years of experience in two or more domains, you should consider pursuing the CISSP. However, if your experience is less than a year, SSCP can be a stepping stone to help you get started. It covers six of the domains in CISSP, providing a solid foundation to eventually achieve the coveted CISSP certification.
One of the main challenges in obtaining the CISSP certification is its strict requirement for several years of cybersecurity experience. So, if CISSP is your ultimate goal and you don't have much experience in information security, SSCP is definitely worth your time. It can help pave the way for you to earn the top-tier certification. Not only will you gain an additional international credential, but it will also increase your chances of achieving the coveted CISSP certification.
